March is celebrating the creative, dynamic and generative force of Shakti - the divine feminine.

February is for Kama and letting yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love (to quote Rumi).

This January, we’re going easy on the resolutions, and closer to the fire of Tejas!

December is for Bhakti - devotion and personalization of one’s relationship to the divine. And singing. We’re singing, too.

It’s so many thank yous. Your name might be in there…

In October, we’re integrating our shadow selves and contemplating our death to help live our lives more meaningfully. And maybe watching Tim Curry as IT, if we’re brave enough.

September is “back to school,” and we’re honoring the path of endless learning by diving back into the Yoga Sutras here at The Moving Galaxy!

This month, we explore the power of the stories we tell, the myths we love, as a way to help us organize and live through the ups and downs of our lives, in community with others.

This month, we’re finding ways to resource share, step out of the grind, and build resiliency so that we can be engaged citizens working toward systemic change.

This month at The Moving Galaxy, we’re focusing on what the natural world can teach us about our yoga practice, awareness, and finding shared experience with our community!

This month we’re exploring devotion, religious mystical love poetry, how we celebrate and liberate through our Tantric inspired yoga practices… and there’s a little bit of talking about Prince.

Let’s start off the New Year sustainably, with a sense of Sankalpah (intention) and Sadhana (dedicated practice and nourishes our spirit and soul).

We’re just a few days away from the opening of the studio, and I’m filled with gratitude for the overwhelming support I’ve received from so many of you - especially all of the amazing teachers who said “YES” when I asked them if they might want to teach for this crazy colorful new yoga studio I was wanting to open. I mean seriously, have you seen the people I’m lucky enough to teach with?

I’ve been waiting a long time to say this: welcome to the galaxy!
